Learn about the founder
Keith Benford a Cleveland resident, born and raised in the Central community. Keith and his wife Sylvia of three decades currently reside in the Hough neighborhood where they raised their five children.
Keith developed a love for the Information Technology industry at East Technical High School. He later obtained a Cisco System certification and started his 30-year journey in the IT field.
How UrbanTechEdu gives back.
UrbanTechEdu has been a great supported to the Learning Pod program that was started during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020-2022 year span. Our focus during that time was having an accessible place for online education. We made sure to keep the technological connection for CMSD students strong. UrbanTechEdu also gave computer training to local organizations during the COVID -19 pandemic.
Building Digital Equity in our Community
Giving the community the education and resources to over come their digital barriers, is the core mission for UrbanTechEdu. With out these imperative tools, we cannot move forward in our goals as a society.
